Project Overview

The main goal of this product is to improve the process time and ergonomic stresses of a manufacturing process at Arc Works of Monroe County. The task of assembling the bottle top to the connector or closure tube assembly is currently being performed in a manual operation that not only slows production, but also creates large amounts of ergonomic risks when being performed. The goal of this project is to design a method which increases production time in this area. To accomplish this product must be designed that can perform this task and also analyze the material flow in the work cell to determine if changes can be made.
