Will provide electrical engineering support, specifically as related to integration with other METEOR teams

public/body.jpg Tony Nimeh ME Project Manager & Support Engineer

Will be responsible for managing and integrating the different specialist engineers, as well as coordinating team-wide design efforts to allow idea-sharing. Will be responsible for material ordering as well. Will also have input on initial specification development, as well as support any needed FE/CFD analysis.

public/body.jpg Chris Wergin ME Systems Engineer

Should have experience with control systems, particularly with actuation. Will be responsible for leading analysis of system (fluid flow/valve actuation/electrical load etc.). Will be expected to use software to produce accurate behavioral models of system components. Experience in Simulink a plus.

public/body.jpg TBD Student ME Structural/Fabrication Engineer

Should have experience with material mechanics, machine design, and a strong aptitude for machining/fabrication. Will be responsible for designing structural elements of test fixtures, as well as lead the integration with Flying Rocket Body. Will be expected to use CAD to create engineering drawings. Finite Element Experience a plus. (ANSYS)

public/body.jpg TBD Student ME Fluidics Engineer

Should have experience with fluid mechanics / transport phenomena, and a strong aptitude for high-speed flow analysis. Will be responsible for leading design and analysis of flow characteristics into and out of thrusters. Will also be expected to contribute significantly to "alternative methods" investigation if necessary. CFD Experience a plus (FLUENT/COMSOL)

public/body.jpg Chad Eberhart ME Thermal Engineer

Should have experience with heat transfer, and a strong aptitude for thermodynamic analysis. Will be responsible for leading design and analysis of fuel delivery system for thrusters. Involves analyzing thermal conductivity around combustion chamber, and its effect on the cold gas.

public/body.jpg TBD Student EE Electrical Engineer

Should have experience with sensor integration into systems. Will be responsible for designing and maintaining interface to Flying Rocket Body (and will collaborate with that team P08106). Will also be responsible for ensuring integration with Guidance System.
