Cats have territories that can range considerably
in size, studies have shown that even house cats
have territories that range from 6 to 70 acres.
When unknown cats enter a territory this could
start a territorial conflict and without their
owners around to stop them a fight can occur. These
fights can lead to serious injuries due to
infections. The primary object of this project is
to design two short range collars that can deter
two cats from each other thus preventing a fight.
Each device must be able to fit on a collar and
must not restrict a cats movement and most be able
to be triggered at a specified range. The end goal
is to deter cats from each other, so they cannot
inflict harm upon one another.
