Mission Statement

To develop mobile wireless sensors that form an autonomous sensing team that changes formation and maintains formation while maneuvering to adapt to sensing tasks.


The objective of this project is to examine the capability of existing mobile wireless sensors and provide enhancements to them, as well as to build improved mobile wireless sensors. The enhanced robots shall be made to provide all of the following: A longer operational lifetime; A more precise movement control; A robust, reliable and clean build up of the platform; And autonomous team formation based on neighborhood scanning.
