Wheelchair tray

The main objective of this project was to design and fabricate a custom quick-release wheelchair tray for the Quickie S-626 Power Wheelchair with Power Tilt.  Two prototypes were made for consumers of the ARC of Monroe County who desired a tray that can be used not only as an eating area, but also as a workstation.  Our design incorporates such features as a storage compartment and cup holder as well as a universal fit to most existing wheelchairs.  Each tray was constructed using purchased items and parts manufactured within the facilities of Rochester Institute of Technology.
