Steven Day ME Faculty Guide, Will work closely with the team on an on-going basis to help facilitate success.
Daniel Phillips EE Mentor that will provide support at his convenience to help facilitate success.
Emily Berg ME Will be responsible for the Design, Validation and Fabrication of the Mock Circulatory Loop. This includes Fluid Analysis, Structural Design and System Modeling. CAD, GD&T, and Machining Skills a plus.
Scott Carlson ME Will be responsible for project management, software development, and computer systems integration. Will provide over-all support to other team members, this includes soldiering, ordering parts, machining etc.
Jim Cezo ME Will be responsible for leading the mechanical Team in the Design, Validation and Fabrication of the Mock Circulatory Loop and Tank System. Complete Fluid and Structural design including all necessary components for control and monitoring of all relevant parameters.
Chris Dickens EE Will be responsible for the Design, Validation, and Implementation of all electrical systems and components. Using a combination of "off-the-shelf" components and custom circuits, Chris Will lead electrical/computer Team to ensure a seamless integration with all subsystems.
Tim Dovi ME Will be responsible for the Design, Validation and Fabrication of the Tank, frame, structure and mechanical accessories necessary to house the Tank/PTM/and Loop systems, will work closely with other team members to ensure that everything that needs attention, gets it. Will provide support to the other ME's, this will include CAD, GD&T, Machining and Assembly.
Suraj Jaisinghani CE Implementation of Computer Systems. Should have good working knowledge of linux, mysql, ni hardware, network communications and a programming background. Will be responsible for the design, build, and testing of the DMC and PTM, both in the concept and proto-typing stages. The reliability of the subsystem control, daq, and communication is emphasized.
June Lee CE Implementation of Pump Test Module Software. Should have good working knowledge of labview, ni hardware, ni rtos, network communications. Will be responsible for the design, build, and testing of the pump test module [ptm], The reliability of the subsystem control, daq, and communication is emphasized.
Syung Lee IE Will be responsible for the Design and Implementation of all Subcomponent Validation. Will work closely with the other team members to devise various procedures to test and validate the reliability of each subcomponent. Should be familiar with accelerated life testing and Statistics. Will provide support to other team members, and be heavily involved in the integration process.
Ronan Mabiala EE Will be responsible for the design and implementation of the VAD Simulator, which will be used to validate CARNA's ability to acquire data from the LVADR2 (which will not be available during the time of this project). Ronan will also be involved with the Design of Software Experiments, which uses the simulator that he develops to debug and validate CARNA's software.
Jackie Sergi ME Will be responsible for the Design, Validation and Fabrication of the Mock Circulatory Loop and Tank System. This includes Fluid Analysis, Structural Design and System Modeling. CAD, GD&T, and Machining Skills a plus.
