RP1 Mission Statement
The end goal of the Robotic Platform Family of projects is to provide a product line of off-the-shelf motor modules and platforms for diverse applications. The RP 1kg (RP1) motor module (MM) follows previous designs of 100kg and 10kg models, and collaborates with RP1 project P08208. This project will develop a wireless controller, controls, and develop a platform that protects electronics and has quickly connects. The other RP1 project will focus on the mechanical design of the drive system, steering, and the yoke. Collaboratively, the teams will develop a number of motor modules, utilizing subsystem designs from each team.
