Introduction to RP1 Motor Module: P08208
The end goal of the Robotic Platform Family of projects is to provide a product line of off-the-shelf motor modules and platforms for diverse applications. The RP 1kg (RP1) motor module (MM) follows previous designs of 100kg and 10kg models, and collaborates with the sister RP1 project P08205. The P08208 team will develop a robust drive, steer, and yoke system that protects the critical mechanical components as well as the electronics that needs to be housed from the P08205 team. The P08205 team will focus on the wireless controller, controls, and the platform with which the MMs will interface. Together, the two teams will produce a number of motor modules, relying upon the work produced by each other.This web site has reorganized for your convenience.
