Staffing Requirements

The staffing requirements for the project are summarized in the table below.

Note to DPM Students: Imagine that you are writing a one paragraph advertisement to hire an engineer to work on each of these positions within the team. Each entry in the Role/Skills description column should be very similar to a one paragraph co-op posting announcement similar to those you have applied to previously.

Marcos Esterman ISE Faculty Guide, Will work closely with the team on an on-going basis to facilitate success.
Susan Farnand CIS Faculty Consultant, Will provide overall EP expertise and well as having the best systems understanding of the overall development and transfer system.
Jonathan Arney CIS Faculty Consultant, Will provide overall EP expertise and is well versed in toner transfer dynamics.
Juan Cockburn CE Faculty Consultant, Will provide control systems design guidance.
Vinny Amuso EE Faculty Consultant, Will provide Electrical Engineering design guidance.
Min-Shi Hsiao EE This student will be responsible for understanding the high voltage systems that are part of the device and ensuring that they work properly and safely.
Andrew Kearns EE This student will primarily have a hardware focus and will be responsible for understanding the control systems (along with the CE) that are part of the device, ensuring that they work properly and safely, and design and implement improvements where appropriate.
Rachel Chrash EE This student will be responsible for general electrical engineering support. They will need to help as appropriate with the high voltage systems, the control systems and the other electrical systems that may not have been addressed by the first two systems. They will to help understand the EE system and ensure that they eanble the device to work properly and safely.
Ruth Gay ME This student will be responsible for understanding the Photoconductor and Development System and of the device. This student will be expected to perform whatever mechanical analysis support and fabrication support is needed to enable the device to work properly and safely.
Daniel Summers ME This student will be responsible for understanding the EDTS Stand, including pneumatics and the Transfer System of the device. This student will be expected to perform whatever mechanical analysis support and fabrication support is needed to enable the device to work properly and safely.
Phill Lopez ME This student will be responsible for understanding the Charging and Discharging Stations of the device. This student will be expected to perform whatever mechanical analysis support and fabrication support is needed to enable the device to work properly and safely.
David Schwartz ISE This student will be responsible for over system integration issues, including development and execution of test plan. In addition, this student should take the lead in the design and development of the user interface system and assessing its effectiveness.
Sasha Oliver CE This student will primarily have a interface hardware and software focus and will be responsible for understanding the control systems (along with the EEs) that are part of the device, ensuring that they work properly and safely, and design and implement improvements where appropriate.
