The cut final dimensions for the board were 1.39" x 0.493".
Other modifications included:
a) Adding a RF antenna to replace the embedded antenna that was chopped off.
b) Removing the surface mounted tactile buttons on the bottom surface.
c) Moving the crystal from the bottom surface to the top surface.
The housing was hand machined from black Delrin plastic.
The bottom consists of a hole for the battery and battery holder. The battery holder, supplied by Keystone electronics, was modified to be more low profile.
The top of the housing is where the circuit board and tactile buttons are contained.

Delrin was also used for the bottom cover. The top cover and band bridges were made from aluminum:
