Project Summary Project Information

This project will be taking a donated reciprocating compressor from Dresser Rand Company, and ready it to be used by RIT students and faculty for research and education purposes. The beginning focus of this project is installation; planning, researching and having all the necessary components ready to be installed for the day of arrival. Once installed, the team will begin data logging all the parameters recommended by Dresser Rand and Dr. Kolodziej for beginning of life characterization of compressor performance as well as fulfiling all the education needs of the faculty.
