Project Summary Project Information

The Portable Ventilator Cell at Dresser-Rand in its current state has excessive inventory, work in progress and finished goods on the floor and is suffering from backlogged orders. In order to improve the cell's performance, a process of inventory reduction, documentation of the forecasting and ordering process, and cycle time reduction initiatives have been established.

Dresser-Rand would also like to move the cell to an out building about half the size of the current cell. A relocation proposal will be supplied by the team to Dresser-Rand management.
