Boost Converter Operational Test

Once the converter had been bread boarded the goal was to determine the actual functionality with a test that simulates a virtual TEG module. A power supply was used with varying voltages while also being connected to a 3 Ohm resistance in series to simulate the TEG. The data for input current and input voltages were taken to calculate input power, as well as the output current and voltage to calculate output power. With this data, the power absorption and the operation region of the converter were able to be determined with the use of a TEG module.
