Work Breakdown and Responsibilities
Aleef Mahmud - Serve as Team Leader on decisions and planning for the development of the system. Provide communication link between the customer, management, and the team.Develop the Seat Interface and Crank System. Provide analysis for the Passenger Interface and Tiller Strut. In charge of overall system integration of the separate subsystems as well as to the commercial/custom seat. Lead the testing process of the integrated system. Track the progress of the project as it develops and continuously plan. Update content created for the project and post it on EDGE.
Mitchel Rankie - Serve as Mechanical Engineer for modeling and benchmarking the current system. Develop, analyze, manufacture and assemble the Passenger Interface and Easy Release Grips. Assist in integrating and testing the Passenger Interface and Easy Release Grips with the other subsystems.
Steven Gajewski - Serve as Mechanical Engineer for modeling and benchmarking the current system. Develop, analyze, manufacture and assemble the Pedestal Base and Tiller Strut. Assist in integrating and testing the Pedestal Base and Tiller Strut with the other subsystems.
Christopher "Chappy" Sullivan - Serve as System Engineer for interfacing with marine vehicles and utilizing boating parts. Develop, analyze, manufacture and assemble the Track Platform. Assist in integrating and testing the Track Platform with the other subsystems.
Channels of Communication
Team will communicate via phone calls, email, and text messages depending on the urgency and/or length of the message. Team will share documents primarily via Tortoise SVN and Google Docs. Team leader will serve as the primary channel of communication between the team and the customers/sponsors. Material and content created by the team can be viewed on either EDGE or by request.

Benchmarking the Original System

Professor Hanzlik has done an excellent job of outlining our expected 'Milepost' with which we can create an project schedule that can factor in such milestones. Much of the work for the MSD I & II schedule was based on the interpretation of these mileposts.
