Project
Readiness Package
The goal of this project is to successfully
implement a Garret GT06 Turbocharger on to the
current RIT Formula SAE single cylinder engine.
This will ultimately result in the ability to
provide more overall power, increase aerodynamic
downforce, and improve the acceleration, autocross,
and endurance scores at Formula SAE competitions.
This project will require skills from the team that
will allow for a full engine simulation, CAD
representation of the system, thermal analysis,
structures analysis, and overall successful
integration with the existing car package.
