The goal of this project is to continue on the success of past UAV projects by integrating on-board measurement and telemetry systems. An on-board embedded controller will be implemented to link with the ground station. This link will allow GPS waypoints and flight control commands to be sent to the aircraft through an automated program or through manual input. Flight data will also be sent from the plane and gathered by the computer to be used for updating flight commands and logging data for later analysis. The ability to simulate aircraft damage through the use of seeded faults will also be implemented in this project.
