For an updated project description, click on the following link for the Project Readiness Package. This project is a third phase building upon P12371 and P13371 The goal of this project is to increase the availability of nanotechnology. If successful this project will enable students in classrooms and laboratories around the world to control centrally located nanomanipulators remotely at a fraction of the cost of commercially available devices. This project is based off the two previous project groups, and will utilize the hydraulic pumps and control system these groups developed. The focus of this project will be to provide remote access, while improving the nanomanipulation device and reducing system backlash. |
