Team Norms & ValuesTeam Behavior expectations:
We expect out of each other to bring their best foot forward and ask for help when need.
The responsibility of the project leader will be to balance workload and help if workload is too much for any one person. However, each person has their own responsibility to finish tasks given in a timely manner and asked for assistance by going to the project leader or asking individuals for help.
Roles and Responsibilities:
There are four major roles in this team, project leader, hardware specialist, software specialist, and electrical manager. Each role are selected and approved by the group for each individual in the group. However, tasks of one member may be distributed to other team members if workload of that individual is too much. Interaction with Guide:
As a team, we will keep the guide updated on progress on a weekly basis.
Communication within the team :
We will utilize email, phone calls, text messaging, and group meeting a weekly basis beside regular class time for discussion.
Any decision to change the robot should be referred to the specialist of that role. Rather it's do-able or not we be made based on consensus and majority rules. However, if the individual want to make minor changes to his or her assign task, the individual can do so if he thinks it will benefit the robot.
If conflicts arise, the party or parties involved should take a short time (one day) off to cool down. However, tasks assigned to them are still expected to be completed. In addition, internal issues should be discussed at meetings and we should find the best solution to resolve the problem before consulting help from the guide.
