Testing Updates:

4 students stood on the platform supported by only threaded nuts, their total weight = approximately 710 lbs. Students felt little deflection. No visible deflection.

Remaining Items/Problems:

- Handle and Wheels (Assigned to Elizabeth)

- Behind schedule for wheel and guard but not on Critical Path; team initially started a bit behind on this and owner has worked to get us back on track; eliminated side guards (the STFA will suffice) and decided to have front guard as dual purpose handle

- Tabs to be put on at end of manufacturing as suggested by Rob

- Can look to have same wheels as platform but this is not a critical item; if need be customer can add after delivery in May

Testing Updates:

No updates as of 03/19.

Remaining Items/Problems:

- Welding will take time and we are behind schedule. This is on Critical Path. In process and highly complex. The changes we had to make to adjust for the Powder Coating caused a schedule delay. We are working to get back on schedule.

- Majority of pieces are cut; welding will be completed by Sean and Rob in place.

- Team has been discussing how to mark the pipes after powder coating so they go far enough into weldment for accurate assembly.

Testing Updates:

No updates as of 03/19.

Remaining Items/Problems:

- We are a bit ahead of schedule; all welding has been completed.

- Arc currently has one footer to look at plan for installation; Arc has requested that they receive product and not drill holes inside. They would like to see if it is really necessary once installed.

- Rubber pieces on the bottom will be attached with double sided tape for testing purposes before the coating is put on at the end of April. It will then be attached with glue already purchased.

Testing Updates:

Remaining Items/Problems:

- Now cutting out of solid steel block. Our own pillow blocks will be permanently attached to the shaft as opposed to a drop in shaft.

- Sean is working with powder coating team to see if press fit for bearing should be done before or after coating.
