Team Vision for Subsystem Level Build & Test PhaseSummarize:
- From our last Phase Review we set goals to have a functional and testable aspects of the build. This includes functioning actuator control and functional aspects of mechanical valve parts.
- During this phase the mechanical portions of the flow control valve are mostly together and showing promise with low leaks in testing. Electronic control is still non functional.
Our shared vision has been changed and to summarize we have aSummary of New Shared Vision.
Test Results Summary
Output fitting and Oring seal leak test show positive results that the device will seal once the correct output fitting has been manufactured.
Our test plans have changed slightly since the last review. New Equipment Plans Can Be Seen Here
All purchased parts are in and most of the fabricated parts are complete. The housing pictured below needed some additional modification to ensure proper fitment. The only critial components left for fabrication are the Cam and output fitting. The Cam is being delayed until the actuator can be controlled. This is critical for finding the home position and aligning the Cam.

Plans for next phase
- As a team we NEED the actuator controller to be working by next phase. A complete assembled valve should be together by next phase in order to get leak testing and flow testing started.
