Tether Abrasion Test

Pre test: Tether was felt, looked at closely for imperfections (fraying, etc)

Test: 3 minutes of simulating plane tugging on tether as it follows the flight path

Post test: Tether was felt, looked at closely for changes in state

Conclusion: No imperfections found, radius of chamfer satisfactory

Pre test: Secure reel model on motor apparatus, wrap a large section of tether around it, feed tether through the ring plate

Test: Simulate reeling in and out for at least 20 cycles, observe wrapping patterns

Post test: Discussion on tether tautness and wrapping

Conclusion: Appears satisfactory, might run more tests
