Team Vision for Build & Test Prep Phase
This phase marks the final review before subsystem builds begin in earnest. Our team had already built a prototype for the LED circuitry, so we reviewed our plans to build and test the other subsystems: the MATLAB interface, observing stand, integrating spheres, equipment box, and Arduino controller. Additionally, the team updated test plans for the LEDs.
Test Plan Summary
Our test plan spreadsheet has been updated to include the latest developments in testing. Notably, each engineering requirement has been assigned to a team member, and Ideal/Marginal values have been added for relevant requirements. A snapshot of the latest revision of requirements can be seen below.
The following test plans have been updated:
To accomplish this MATLAB testing, we ordered and received an encoder. This encoder is for the observer interface, to adjust each LED. Thus, this test ensures we can adjust the LEDs by interfacing to the Arduino.
Once the Observer Calibrator housing is assembled, we will start testing to ensure it does not get too hot or emit too much heat. This test plan accounts for this.
