Risk and Problem Tracking

During the latest update to the risk graph, a dramatic decrease in the total value was seen. This is due to the application of a safety standard, ASTM F963: Standard Consumer Safety Specification for Toy Safety. This standard was chosen because it covers a range of tests targeted at making a product safe against abuse by a child. The standard includes tests for impact, along with specifications for entanglement, pinch hazards, protrusions, and similar dangers that could pose a risk to children. Though our product is not intended as a toy, it is understood that our user will most likely abuse it in some way.

Budget and Filament

We have been tracking our budget and filament use using excel. The current budget is as follows. Some prints have been done through the ID department, and are paid for throug our budget, while some prints have been done on a personal 3D printer using filament that was purchased through our budget.
