The GPS module cut out above 12,000m due to it being in the wrong operating mode (software issue).

The above graph is the horizontal speed from the GPS module. No new values were obtained above 12,000m since the GPS module cut out.

The GPS altitude data was taken and used to calculated the vertical velocity of the platform; a graph of the calculated data is shown above.

A guide for setting up the COMMS Pi Zero can be found here: Pi Setup

The soundmodem running on the Pi Zero was modified to trigger our push to talk GPIO during transmission (beacon command). There is code to run at the ground station (Linux box in Meteor Lab connected to the VHF/UHF transceiver) to log and plot received data and to send commands.
