Project Summary Project Information

Our senior design project is to develop a device that will measure the friendly competition between colleges at RIT’s convocation. During this friendly competition Provost Haefner calls on each college to see who can show the most spirit. Currently the scoring for the competition is solely based on the Provost and thus the college that is furthest away from the main stage does not sound as loud as the college closest to the stage. This creates a biased system to see which college has the most spirit.

The expected end result is to accurately measure all types of cheering from the college when called upon and displayed the results.
