Built grating prototype
-testing of prototype will allow for an estimation of force needed to move the bottom grate
-prototype construction shed light onto nuances of grate fabrication, ie. size, shape, and position of teeth

DATA ACQUISITION SYSTEM
Prototype capable of: measuring temperature and humidity, logging data with time stamp into an SD card, and being reset to accommodate the removal and plug in of SD card.
Prototype will be shown and functionality will be demonstrated to clients during preliminary detailed design review

-Test grating and casting recovery methods
-Use experimental data to determine ideal reciprocation rates and grate density
-Finalize functional parameters for the design
