Team Vision for System-Level Design Phase

For the systems design portion of the project, our teams goal was to take and translate our engineering requirements into a system concept and update risk analysis and plans to enable a full detailed design. All phase 1 actions from the Problem Definition have been completed.

A wheelchair has been located and having been communicating with the disability office to gain volunteers to test the inital design.

Schedule

During this phase, our team has learned how to research more efficiently for benchmarking. We have also learned the importance of having a set test plan and following it closely. We have also further learned the importance of feedback for both our academic and engineering deliverables. Additionally, we have learned it is best to utilize existing subcomponents that are proven to work and not redesign our own.

Phase 3 Vision:

For the preliminary detailed design phase, our teams goal is to take our finalized concept and complete 80% of our preliminary sub system drawings and documentation.
