Intellectual Property Considerations

Team MYSCLE is giving IP rights for this project to the customer and the RIT Biomedical Engineering department.

Team Setup

Natalie Nold - Project Manager, Biomedical Engineer

The project manager will create and maintain a team schedule for MSD events, device design, and administrative tasks. The project manager will proofread all documents for posting on EDGE.

Amanda Castagnino - EDGE Facilitator, Biomedical Engineer

The EDGE Facilitator will be the point of contact for uploading and editing items on the team’s EDGE site.

Emily Adams - Team Facilitator, Mechanical Engineer

The team facilitator will mediate team meetings and ensure that all members of the team and included in MSD activities. The team facilitator will be the point of contact for team members if conflict arises within the team.

Emily Wood - Software Expert and Treasurer, Mechanical Engineer

The software expert will lead software creation and testing for the team. The treasurer will manage the team’s funds and facilitate purchasing items for the team.

Simran Singh - Cell Culture Expert, Notetaker, Biomedical Engineer

The cell culture expert will be the point of contact for cell culture activities and knowledge on the team. The notetaker records discussion during meetings for future reference.

Team Values and Norms

Communication:

Team members are to make communication a top priority. It is expected that members communicate regularly about the project and respond to issues in an appropriate time frame. Members will be upfront about all ideas/concerns relating to the project’s improvement and success.

Attendance:

Every team member should make their best effort to attend team meetings. If conflicts arise, it is expected that members will communicate tardiness and absences prior to the meeting time.

Professional/Ethical Behavior:

Team members will respect time dedicated to the project, giving full focus at meetings and actively participating in team discussions. Everyone is expected to act/dress appropriately around stakeholders, and respect the ideas/work of other members.

Responsibility/Integrity:

Team members will take full responsibility of their work. All tasks should be completed on time and with a work ethic appropriate for the project’s success.

Commitment:

Team members should display a good sense of ownership towards the project. This includes being attentive at group meetings, completing quality work within designated work periods, and showing investment in the project’s success.
