April 12 - 14: AIAA Region I Student Conference at Clarkson University

April 14 - 15: Hot Fire Test 1

April 21 - 22: Hot Fire Test 2

April 28: Imagine RIT

Semester Schedule

Week 8

  1. Complete Design Freeze
  2. Order all final components (Valves, PCB, Tank Material, etc)
  3. Begin combustion chamber manufacturing
  4. MWI manufacturing graphite nozzle

Week 8.5 - Spring Break

  1. Items on order

Week 9

  1. Manufacture oxidizer tank end caps
  2. Complete combustion chamber manufacturing; pressure test
  3. Complete prototype testing w/ higher flow rate
  4. Injector CO2 test
  5. Coat nozzles
  6. Complete controller test phase 3
  7. Begin test stand build

Week 10

  1. Weld tank, heat treat, and pressure test
  2. Assemble and test PCB
  3. Continue injector testing w/ CO2 and N2O
  4. Complete AIAA paper

Week 11

  1. Simulate oxidizer tank loading and pressurization
  2. Manufacture fuel grains
  3. Remote load of feed system using Teensy and flight computer
  4. Cold flow feed system
  5. Assemble combustion chamber
  6. Complete injector testing
  7. Test load cells in test stand

Week 12 - Prepping for 1st Hot Fire

  1. Manufacture final injector

Week 13

Week 14 - Prepping for Imagine

  1. Completing analysis of hot fires
