Intellectual Property Considerations
Intellectual property belongs to the members of the P18221 MSD team in proportion to their design/facilitation in the development of the patent. Any patentable content claims are required to provide free license for use by the RIT Baja SAE team. However, priority is given to members of the MSD team that develops the project in order to patent/reap exclusive right for any IP they develop. Within the MSD team, IP is initially given to the MSD team member who has worked most directly on that technology, with credit given to contributors on that patent. Team members must consult with the rest of the team before a patent is pursued.Team Setup
