Team Vision for Integrated System Build & Test Phase

During this phase, the team planned to implement permanent buttons and lights onto the test bench while also finishing up the GUI and validating the data. The team also planned to validate that several project engineering requirements have been met. These goals were accomplished, and test bench progress is shown below.

A snapshot of the current progress of the GUI can be seen below. In this case, the GUI is live and connected to an active test bench. In addition to successfully updating a live CAN value, the GUI can now successfully interpret faults and bit entries as shown below. Another addition has been the option whether to download a .xlsx or .csv log file.

The in-use test bench can be seen below. The movable shelves have been altered to be fit the 2017-18 Hot Wheelz Electrical Design. Notice that some shelves are used for mounting components, while others are used for tool storage.

A firewall was added to the high voltage battery portion of the test bench. Below, it can be seen that hinges were added to make the batteries easily accessible, while still being safe when not in use.

Last, a permanent "Command Center" shelf was added. This shelf includes all shutdown and control buttons needed to test the full electrical system. It also has voltage indication lights at each point in the shutdown path and each low voltage supplies. Below you can see the lights for completed, and partial shutdown.
