Team Vision for Subsystem Level Build & Test Phase
During this phase of the project, our team has planned to build the multiple subsystems. Those subsystems include on the electrical engineering side, the UV light sterilization and the ultrasonic transducer for the cleaning system. For the mechanical engineering side of the project, there is the water system, the basin and the drying system. The electrical components of the system are controlled via the Teensy LC microcontroller by a relay, which acts as a switch that is triggered by the Teensy. A breakout board for a relay was designed and constructed as a proof of concept as well as a test bed for the electrical systems.
