Our team received ANSYS simulation files of our initial base design. These simulations showed the design we received was capable of supporting our required weight, so no changes to the design were necessary, and the base could be manufactured as-is.

After performing our Pugh Chart Analysis, we recognized that several aspects of the "simple" design performed better than our "practical" datum. At this point, we decided to combine the two systems as best as possible, to achieve a better overall solution. The selected concepts are shown below:
