Team Values and Norms

  1. No quitting (if you need help then ask)
  2. Agree on all final statements before making them “official” - when in doubt, discuss with group
  3. Try to respond to group messages as needed
  4. Punctuality for meetings and classes
  5. Give feedback to other members (don't hold onto gripes)
  6. Voice honest concerns about ideas
  7. Subject matter expert has final say if one doesn't exist it must be decided by consensus
  8. Try to make team aware of any potential absences with a X amount of time notice (doctor appointment, out of town, sick, etc)
  9. Keep all communication formal and professional
  10. Break it down to the first principles
  11. Have “fun”!
  12. Be open to new ideas and opinions even if they differ from yours
  13. Don't be afraid to ask for clarifications
  14. Don’t waste time in meetings
  15. Just be yourself
  16. Keep John in the loop
  17. Amendments to these Norms & Values must be made by unanimous decision
