- Demo In Progress
Finish wearable mechanical prototype for testing
- Still in Development
Start a Software Manual for the Dext
- Started
Report Battery Level to Device
- Plan Concocted
Add Connection Security (Password)
- Not Possible with current board
DEXT Prototype Progress
A Software manual Outline has been started and progress will be started in Tandem with the Poster for the DEXT.An issue has arisen where our scope is severely limited by what is supported on the board. Security measures such as passwords are not supported.Ultimately this feature could not be implemented and future iterations may need to switch boards, again.
Game Progress
- Demo in Progress
- Hangman Typing Game In progress
- Version is now Compatible with IPAD and IOS 12
Mechanical Prototype Progress
- Still in Development
This issue has been noted in Problem Tracking as this is a very key feature for Many of the necessary Tests. That said progress has been made in understanding how it should be constructed in the future.

Updated BOM
This is the currently up to date BOM of orders that have been made since last review in order to allow the team to explore more possibilities with the current micro controller. As can be seen, we are well within budget, so if we are able to pull things together for wearable prototypes we should be quite able to create multiple prototypes for ImagineRIT. More acquisitions will likely be made as we progress to our test plans. The BOM file can be found here.
Risk and Problem Tracking
The current Risk Management chart can be found here. After several weeks, the risk of the mechanical prototype taking too long has jumped greatly which can be seen below in the Problem Tracker. An even more serious issue was recently discovered where it appears security features may not be possible on the current micro controller, this may require a change in micro-controllers that may only be feasible for future iterations due to the time crunch.
The current solution is to reallocate the EE's without much current work to assist Willow in her duties starting with Sarah. The Problem Tracking Document can be found can be found here.Functional Demo Materials
