The OvercomerTM Soccer Device seeks to aid individuals with disabilities in participating in soccer and other related physical activities. The device will attach to wheelchairs, walkers, and standers; allowing as many users as possible to enjoy the sport. In its current state, the OvercomerTM Soccer Device is in need of improvement following field testing by the project sponsor, and the team will be building off the work of the P18046 project to deliver a better and more effective design. The goal of this project will be to increase the angle of catch, reduce the footprint, reduce the set-up time of the device, and increase the overall functionality of the design. We will be working closely with Inclusivity-Fitness to develop our prototype, with the end goal of allowing more people to access the beautiful game. The P20046 Team has decided to move our website to Confluence. Please use the link below to access all of our deliverables. https://wiki.rit.edu/display/P20046/Project+Overview |
