Project Summary Project Information

The goal of this project is to develop an underwater Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) that can be used for underwater exploration. The primary customer is Dr. Jason Kolodziej, who seeks to use the ROV for recreational exploration of the Finger Lakes in New York.

The team is expected to deliver a working prototype of an ROV as well as perform a demonstration in Conesus Lake by May 2020. The prototype shall be able to stream HD video via a tether back to the control unit, and must be able to dive to at least 100 feet below the water's surface.
